w / Radio Host Derek Hartley (Derek and Romaine)

Dennis' friend since forever radio host Derek Hartley stops by the condo and delivers the longest podcast to date, which is why it's going to be divided into two parts.  In Part One, Derek talks about how he got put together with his "Derek & Romaine" cohost Romaine Patterson, why their chemistry works, meeting listeners on the road, interviewing Donald J. Trump and Martha Stewart and the worst thing that ever went wrong for him at a Pride Fest. He also talks about making out with listeners, the radio misadventure that led Romaine to meet her wife, and getting emotional over listener reactions after DNR got cancelled. Derek also discusses the joy of hitting a hard break, how he knows so much stuff, why it's hard to interview comedians and how nerve-wracking it's been to start Derek and Romaine 2.0 on the web.

They talk about the inspiration for the film, shooting almost all of it in Jim's house and their adventures on the film festival circuit. Jim talks about his day job; working as the costume supervisor of television shows like "Last Man Standing" and "Rules of Engagement," creating the popular "Chloe" videos with Drew Droege and having a pre-fame Jennifer Lawrence totally strip down in front of him. Jeffery talks about his breakout project, the usual spelling of his first name, The Jeffery & Cole Casserole on Logo, appearing on "30 Rock" and moving to LA from NYC. Other topics include: the George Michael bathroom in Beverly Hills, the pressure to be funny on social media if you want to make it in show business and getting punched in the balls.  A short conversation with Tom Goss about his music video "Son of a Preacher Man" ends the episode.

Dennis ventures to the Sun Valley home of producer-director Walt Bost to talk with Walt and filmmaker John Sobrack about their upcoming webseries "The New 30," which is centered around a just-turned-40-and-totally-freaked-out-about-it gay man and his circle of friends and lovers. Walt and John talk about the real-life feelings that inspired the series, why diversity in casting was important to them and how life doesn't get easier in middle age even though we all thought it would. Other topics include hearing from people who have seen their films at fests or on YouTube, being in a semi-gay bowling league with a pre-fame Kevin Hart and the thrill of working a Lupita Nyong'o joke into their script. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7KXIryiaUk

w/ writer-lecturer-adult film star Conner Habib

In a very NSFW episode, Dennis visits the Larchmont neighborhood home of writer, activist, lecturer and adult film star Conner Habib to discuss the thrill of winning an AVN award, that time he read a book a day for months, going to a school with the mascot the Rough Riders and realizing his lifelong dream of being a gay porn star.  He talks about the first time he saw porn, the rush of getting recognized, letting it go to his head, body image and the indelible impact "Marcy Mouths a Mom" had on him. Other topics include: what he's observed from speaking at college students about sexuality, pigging out after a shoot, the weirdest places he's been recognized, PREP, hookup apps, being on a dirty card in Spencer's Gifts, how he learned the facts of life and his dream of starting a school.
